I have a PHP web site that I wrote. It uses Authorize.net to process payment. I want to start an affiliate program but I don’t know how… There are plenty of scripts, should I use one of these? If so, which one?
Should I build my own? If so, could someone direct me to a site to get started?
I currently know HTML and CSS (I own a couple sites and code layouts when I get bored), and I plan on web designing as a career also. Should I bother learning PHP, or anything else you recommend? I heard it is higher pay, but not sure if I really should bother learning it, or if I will even be using it a lot. I only know PHP includes, since it’s very basic and does really require much or anything.

Lets say the table headings are “code”, “first_name”, “last_name”
Data in the table “1″ “Bob” “Smith”, “2″ “Tom” “Jones”, “3″ “David” “Green”.
So I want a MySQL query that returns
$variable = array(1, 2, 3)
How can I do that?
It is my understanding that there are three ways to include commonly used content (such as navigation bars) in your website: Server Side Includes, PHP, and Javascript. Which of these three ways is fastest? Obviously Javascript is less demanding on the server, so is there a way to try Javascript and if the user doesn’t have it use PHP or SSI? Are there any caveats in doing it at all or with any singular one?
